Development plans

 

 

On an annual basis, AB Lietuvos Dujos draws up its Natural Gas System Development Plan based on written requests received from potential customers willing to be connected to our natural gas grid and plans investments for their connection. The rational use of investments is useful not only to the company itself, but also helps cut the customers’ expenses. Natural gas pipelines are constructed to connect new previously unconnected areas to the gas grid or, alternatively, the already existing gas grids are further expanded. We are pleased to inform you about our Natural Gas System Development Plan for 2010 (some projects are already underway, others will kick off later this year).

 

Vilnius Branch Service Zone. New gas pipelines are planned to be constructed in Krakiskes, in the Saldene Village and in the Naujaneriai Village. The gas pipeline system development works are planned to be continued in the following gardeners’ partnerships: Riesutas, Dvarcionys, Pensininkas, Konservatorija, Neris, Profsajungietis, Krantas, Verkiai, Azuolynas, Vesa, Elektronika, Lakstingala, Ridikas in Pavilnys, in Salininkai, in Skaidiskes and Nemencine Road.

 

Kaunas Branch Service Zone. Further gas pipeline system development works are planned to be carried out in Kaunas District: in the directions of Rokai, Jonuciai and Garliava. There are also plans to go on with the gas system development works in Romainiai, in Narsieciai and in the Uzliedziai Settlement of Kaunas District. We also plan to lay a gas pipeline to the Pazaislis Nunnery and to the Alytus Industrial Park.

 

Klaipeda Branch Service Zone. There are plans to connect to the natural gas grid the gardeners’ partnership Tauras. Further gas grid development is planned in the gardeners’ partnerships Baltija and Pavesis and in the following settlements already connected to the gas grid: Slengiai, Ginduliai, Mazuriskes, Klipsciai, Budrikiai, Aukstkiemiai, Kretingsodis as well as in the residential quarter in Uzkanave Street in Palanga.

 

Siauliai Branch Service Zone. Further gas grid development is planned in the following parts of the Siauliai Town: Naujasis Medelynas and in the Southern Part, in the Western Part of the Town – near Dubijos Street and Daukanto Street, in the residential quarters in the Zaliukiu Village (Siauliai District) and the Raizgiai Village (Siauliai District).

 

Panevezys Branch Service Zone. There are plans to lay gas pipelines in the following parts of the Panevezys Town: in the Stetiskes Residential Quarter, in the Western Part near Klaipedos Street, in the Residential Quarter between Tilvycio and Molainiu Streets; in the Vynupe Village. Somewhat later, there are plans to construct gas pipelines to the Piniava Village and to expand the natural gas grid in the Ramygala Town.

 

Note: the new territories’ connection plans are being updated on an ongoing basis and can be subject to changes depending on the numbers of customers willing to be connected to the natural gas grid. The connection of new customers in the territories already connected to the natural gas grid is an ongoing process that is based on written requests submitted by potential gas customers.
